inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Member of the General Election Commission (KPU) Idham Holik stressed that the elected legislative candidate of the 2024 Regional Head Election will not be appointed if not handing over the State Officials' Assets Report (LHKPN) to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

“Yes (they will be appointed),” said Idham quoted from Antara on Wednesday (7/17/2024).

The regulation was mentioned on the Article 52 of KPU Regulation Number 6 of 2024 regarding the determination of selected candidates. Previously, KPU also issued Circular Letter Number 1262/PL.01.9-SDFD/05/2024 regarding LHKPN reporting.

The elected legislative candidates who have reported their LHKPN will receive a receipt from KPK. The receipt will be then given to KPU at least 21 days before the inauguration.

If they are unable to provide the report due to receiving the receipt past the 21 days, then they could provide the LHKPN report proof and a statement letter to the provincial or district/city KPU.
