inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) highlights the challenge for Indonesia in its 79th year. The most notable challenge is maintaining Indonesia’s economic stability amidst global uncertainty.

“What’s important is how the government prepares the policies for the economic transformation. Such as the policy of President Jokowi for industrial downstreaming,” said Deputy for the Study and Management of Political, Legal, Defense, Security and Human Rights Issues of KSP, Rumadi Ahmad, on Sunday (8/18/2024).

According to him, thanks to the industrial downstreaming, Indonesia has reaped satisfying results “As we did not export the raw material but instead processed it here domestically. Our current challenges are not within our country anymore, but outside,” explains Rumadi.

Rumadi says that Indonesia has abundant natural resources to the world and has to prove to the world that the country has the adequate human resource in managing the resource.

“And that is why the economic transformation must be followed with good human resource development. Issues such as corruption must be handled immediately,” conclude Rumadi.
