Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Communication and Information Minister Budi Arie Setiadi invites people to strengthen digital resilience. The statement conveyed during the 79th Indonesian Independence.

This step is necessary so that Indonesia can have proper digital sovereignty.

"Technology is like a double edged sword, can be beneficial, can be harmful. Thus, I urge all state components to strengthen resilience and guarantees digital toughness for all people," says Minister Budi on Saturday (8/17/2024).

In strengthening digital resilience, continue improving digital skills of the people from time to time is one of the correct steps. Through this step, Indonesians would have the competitive edge to compete in digital sector and would make the Indonesia seen as a country not who used the advanced digital, but also the state who used technology as solutions.

Thus, the government in supporting the digital innovation growth will focus in improving the competitive edge as it would give huge ripple effect.

"I hope digital innovation can be focused to strengthen Indonesian competitiveness in global level, and at the same time can nurture local economy," explains Minister Budi.
