inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road Management has temporarily closed the Kunciran-Karawaci and Karawaci-Bitung Toll Gates due to flooding hitting the toll road with a height of 40 centimeters.

Senior Manager Representative Office 2 Jasa Marga Metropolitan Tollroad, Ginanjar Bekti R, said that the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road was hit by a 40-centimeter flood. As a result, traffic was congested.

"Congestion occurred at several points due to the volume of vehicles. However, flooding occurred in the direction of Bitung and Bitung towards Tomang," said Ginanjar Bekti, as reported by the RRI on Saturday (6/28/2025).

In his statement, he said that for that reason his party closed two Toll Gates due to flooding with a height of 40 centimeters. First, the Kunciran Toll Gate and second, the Bitung Toll Gate.

"The Kunciran Toll Gate and the Bitung Toll Gate were temporarily closed due to the flood. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes," he explained.

For information, it is known that flooding has hit the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road at KM24, causing vehicles to stall. This is due to the high intensity of rain and the overflowing of the Sabi River.

He also said that water covered almost the entire lane. Automatically, vehicles can only pass through one lane.

"Currently, the puddles are observed covering the outer shoulder, lanes one, two, three, and four. However, only lane four can still be crossed," he concluded.
