Inp.polri.go.id - Bandarlampung. The South Lampung Sub-regional Police arrested two suspects at an apartment in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, following the discovery of an illegal AR-15 assault rifle during a vehicle inspection in Kalianda, South Lampung.

"We arrested RRS (35) from Lubuk Linggau and IH (38) from Musi Rawas Utara, along with a licensed Glock pistol and 33 rounds of 7.65 mm ammunition," said South Lampung Police Crime Investigation Unit Chief Assistant Senior Inspector Stefanus Reinaldo Fajar Nuswantoro Boyoh on Monday (5/10/2026)..

The case originated on Thursday when a suspect, DS (31), fled a Bakauheni Port checkpoint and was later arrested hiding in a school attic. 

A search of his vehicle yielded an AR-15 rifle and 15 rounds of ammunition. Police tracked the case to Jakarta on Friday, charging IH with illegal firearm possession while charging RRS with etomidate narcotics possession.
