Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Directorate of Traffic advised motorists to anticipate potential traffic congestion around the House of Representatives (DPR) complex in Central Jakarta from Tuesday (6/10/2-26) to Thursday.
According to the Metro Jaya Police’s Traffic Management Center (TMC), heavy traffic is expected due to public demonstrations scheduled daily starting at 10 am. Police noted that traffic diversions and road re-engineering will be implemented situationally depending on field conditions.
The highest congestion or potential road closures are expected along Jalan Gatot Subroto heading toward Slipi, directly in front of the parliament building, where demonstrators are anticipated to gather.
Traffic authorities urged drivers to adjust travel schedules, follow field officers' directions, and utilize alternative routes via Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Jalan Asia Afrika, Palmerah, or Pejompongan.
