inp.polri.go.id - Lampung Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Lampung) Inspector General Drs. Hendro Sugiatno, M.M., along with the Police Chiefs of Lampung, saw the condition of Bekauheni port through the vicon facility at the Bekauheni Integrated Post, Lampung, "Now we have entered the phase of securing the backflow, and we need an idea and energy in dealing with the return flow which has gradually begun," said Kapolda Lampung, on Wednesday (04/05/22). Kapolda Lampung said that there are several problems that have occurred in Banten and Merak, and they have held meetings several times in each of the Minister's visits to Lampung, all of which are aimed at checking the readiness of return flow security in Lampung and all of them are focused on Bakauheni Port. "The concept that we have created and agreed on, and how do we implement our strategic concept to secure this countercurrent humanitarian operation is respected and appreciated by both the National Police Chief and the ministers who came here," stated Polda Lampung. The Two-Star General asked all personnel of Polda Lampung and the lower ranks of the Departmental Police to unite their ranks and forces, in order to properly control the traffic, where from today until May 9, 2022 the return flow from Sumatra to Java takes place. "And we have also appealed to the whole community to return as soon as possible, to avoid traffic jams, but sadly the fact is that today the backflow is still very small, and from the ASDP data, there are no thousands of ticket purchases, means they are still enjoying their time with their family,” said Kapolda Lampung. “It is predicted that Friday to Sunday will be the peak of return flow, because there are around 200,000 vehicles who will return to Java," concluded Kapolda Lampung.
