Inp.polri.go.id - Poso. The Madago Raya Task Force of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police has intensified vehicle inspections in Poso during Ramadan to prevent the circulation of dangerous goods, including firearms and explosives.
"In maintaining security stability, we are conducting thorough inspections, particularly in Tamanjeka, Kalora, Tabalu, and Masamba," said Senior Superintendent Kurniawan Tandi Rongre, Head of the Preventive Unit, on Sunday (2/3/2025).
Officers are checking vehicles and suspicious belongings while educating the public on security awareness.
"We are committed to ensuring a safe and peaceful environment, especially during Ramadan," Chief Kurniawan added, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Residents are encouraged to maintain religious harmony and report any suspicious activities. The operation aligns with Madago Raya’s broader efforts in deradicalization and counterterrorism to curb extremist threats.
