Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned railway company PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) has allocated 3,443,832 long-distance train tickets for Eid  Al-Fitr travel from 21 March to 11 April  2025, to accommodate increased demand.

"As of 2 March 2025, ticket sales have reached 1,486,649, or 43.17% of total capacity, with peak demand expected on 28 March 2025," said PT KAI VP Public Relations Anne Purba on Sunday (2/3/2025).

The highest departures are from Pasar Senen (208,106 passengers), Gambir (116,861), and Bekasi (65,489), according to antaranews.com.

PT KAI has deployed 170 Customer Service Mobile officers at 39 stations and expanded water station facilities at four additional stations to enhance customer experience.

To support travelers during Ramadan, PT KAI will distribute 34,400 free iftar meals at 21 major stations from H-10 to H-1.

Passengers can book tickets via the Access by PT KAI app or kai.id.
