Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Southwest Maluku at 4.40 pm on Wednesday (4/9/2024).
According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake’s epicenter was located at 7.54°S latitude and 126.53°E longitude, approximately 155 kilometers northwest of Southwest Maluku, at a depth of 14 kilometers.
BMKG emphasized the preliminary nature of the data.
