This activity was part of the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s soft approach to maintaining peace and strengthening relationships with the community and religious groups in the area.
In addition to patrols and law enforcement, personnel from the task force took time to engage in community service within the church grounds. This activity also served as a means of outreach and communication with church administrators and congregations, strengthening their relationship and cooperation between security forces and the community.
The Head of 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized that the operation prioritizes the values of peace and interfaith tolerance.
"Maintaining security and peace in Papua is not only achieved through security, but also through a sincere presence in the community. Places of worship are symbols of peace, and we are here to care for them alongside the community," said Faizal Ramadhani.
Throughout the activity, the situation was observed to be safe and conducive. This church cleanup is part of the 2026 Damai Cartenz Operation Task Force commitment to maintaining security and stability in Papua through a persuasive and dignified approach.
