inp.polri.go.id - In order to build cooperative relationships with all elements in the region, the Maluku Police Chief, Inspector General Lotharia Latif, opened a Workshop on International Policing rules and standards. This program is also part of the National Police Chief's program. The activity, which was attended by personnel from the Maluku Police Mobile Brigade Unit, was held on the second floor of the Swissbell Hotel, Ambon City, Wednesday (10/8/2022).
One of the International Policing rules and standards is the good cooperation with the International Committe of the Red Cross (ICRC).
"Our cooperation with the ICRC has been around for a long time and we have received many benefits from this collaboration and one of them is by holding this kind of workshop," said the Maluku Police Chief.
Kapolda expected all training participants to be able to implement all the material that will be given by the speakers properly.
"I hope the participants who attend can follow and listen to all the material provided by the speakers well so that this activity can improve our service, not only nationally but also internationally," he hoped.
The Regional Police Chief conveyed that in the future the National Police will be faced with a fairly difficult task.
"In the future, we will be faced with quite difficult challenges, starting from handling demonstrations to handling natural disasters, and others. And this requires special abilities. Therefore, our Mobile Brigade Unit must have sufficient skills and knowledge in facing those challanges,” he asked.
