inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Manpower has urged the public to be wary of false information or hoaxes claiming to be related to the 2026 Wage Subsidy Assistance (BSU) Program, particularly those containing unofficial registration links and potential scams.
Faried Abdurrahman Nur Yuliono, Head of the Manpower Ministry Public Relations Bureau, stated that this clarification follows the circulation of various posts on social media, chain messages, and news reports purporting to be part of the 2026 BSU Program, causing public unrest.
"We urge the public not to easily believe hoaxes and disinformation about the BSU, especially those directing registration through unofficial links, as the BSU does not require independent registration," said Head of the Bureau, Faried, Wednesday (January 7, 2026).
Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of public caution in responding to BSU information circulating outside of official government channels. "Official BSU information is only provided through the bsu.kemnaker.go.id website and the Ministry of Manpower's official social media channels," said Head of Bureau Faried.
For your information, the last BSU distribution took place in 2025, with 16,048,472 workers receiving it, in accordance with applicable regulations.
He emphasized that there is currently no official policy or information regarding BSU distribution in 2026. "We need to convey that there is currently no information regarding the 2026 BSU. If a new policy is issued in the future, the Ministry of Manpower will announce it openly through official channels," said Faried.
Furthermore, Faried urged the public to always verify the accuracy of information before sharing it and to report any indication of fraud in the name of the BSU program to prevent losses to the community.
