inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Manpower Yassierli emphasized the government's commitment to ensuring the National Internship Program (MagangHub) remains inclusive for all, including recent college graduates with disabilities.

"We want to provide equal opportunities, as it is our duty to provide services that are equal access for all," said Yassierli on Thursday (6/18/2026).

According to him, during the previous implementation of the National Internship Program, the Ministry of Manpower had allocated a special quota for participants with disabilities.

"Thank God, although the number is still limited, we want this opportunity to also be available to our college graduates with disabilities," he said.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Manpower is implementing an affirmative action approach and collaborating with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology to recruit prospective interns with disabilities.

"Some of them have been participating in the internship program. At the Ministry of Manpower, we have several interns with disabilities," said Yassierli.

In addition to inclusivity, the Ministry of Manpower is also striving to promote equitable distribution of internship participants across regions and educational backgrounds.

"Regarding the distribution of internship participants in the first batch, the majority are still those from Java, and more specifically in Jakarta," said the Minister of Manpower.

He added that the government wants to open wider opportunities for participants from various regions and study programs.

The first phase of the 2026 National Internship Program is planned to begin this coming July with an initial target of around 50,000 participants. The program will be implemented in stages until the national target of 150,000 participants is reached.
