inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Manpower, Immanuel Ebenezer, visited the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency to discuss the Manpower Desk formed by INP. Immanuel says that this meeting was a follow-up to a number of labor issues reported to his ministry.
"This is the first Manpower Desk so it would be a shame if we do not optimize this new desk. This is extraordinary, we are not alone," said Ebenezer in his visit to INP Criminal Investigation Agency HQ in South Jakarta, Monday (2/24/2025).
Ebenezer says that in his discussion with INP, they talked about community organizations who often ask for "levies". This has an impact on Indonesia's investment climate as it causes many investors to leave.
In addition, he also discusses the problem of labor brokers, where he hopes that these problems can be prosecuted legally.
