She outlined the extensive measures being taken to manage the situation, including the processing of the necessary permits to temporarily shut down the Suramadu Bridge. The police is set to deploy a significant number of personnel and a combined force of security personnel will be on standby, consisting of dozens of officers.
"We have assigned security personnel from 2 SSK," Chief Herlina said., referring to the two police teams consisting around 200 personnel.

The Suramadu bridge connects Surabaya in East Java and Bangkalan in Madura Island.
"We are actively pursuing mediation efforts to prevent the bridge from being closed," said Superintendent Herlina, the Tanjung PerakHarbor Police Chief, on Sunday.
