inp.polri.go.id - Karangasem. Director of Nutrition Promotion and Education of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Gunalan, revealed that the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is one of the foundations for building a healthy young generation in realizing the goal of 2045 Golden Indonesia.

“This program hopefully can support the goal of 2045 Golden Indonesia by producing a strong and smart generation,” says Gunalan in his statement quoted by RRI on Sunday (6/15/2025).

According to him, the MBG program helps drive forward the progress in achieving the 2045 Golden Indonesia by producing a generation that can build Indonesia to a strong country.

He further said that the MBG Program was also designed to be able to solve national problems such as poverty, uneven economy, quality of human resources (HR), and encourage new jobs.

Gunalan considered that the fulfillment of good nutrition would have a direct impact on children's abilities, especially in learning, improving quality nutrition, and quality of HR.
