inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto stated that the government's priority programs, from Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), free health checks, to equal education, have demonstrated tangible results and provided a broad economic impact for the community.
He stated that all these policies are being implemented properly as part of the national development strategy to strengthen the economic foundation, improve the quality of human resources, and achieve sustainable public welfare.
President Prabowo stated that by 2026, the MBG program had grown rapidly and reached tens of millions of beneficiaries throughout Indonesia.
He also explained that the implementation of the MBG program has also had a broad economic impact. The program has created a business ecosystem and created employment opportunities in various regions.
"Our MBG recipient has reached 60 million today. We will reach 82 million by December 2026 at the latest," said President Prabowo on Monday (1/2/2026).
Currently, 22,275 MBG kitchens have operated, excluding the assessment and application process, which amounts to 13,829 units.
"With just 22,000, we've now created 1 million jobs, 22,000 times 50 people are paid daily," said President Prabowo.
In the health sector, President Prabowo stated that the government has expanded access to basic services for the public. Free health checks are one of the flagship programs that directly address the needs of the people.
"70 million of our people have received free health checks. This is the first time in history," said President Prabowo.
In the education sector, President Prabowo emphasized the government's commitment to reducing the gap in education quality between regions. The government is distributing educational aid and facilities to reach all schools, including those in underdeveloped areas.
He also highlighted the government's strategic steps to strengthen the foundation of the national economy. The consolidation of state assets through the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) is being carried out to ensure professional management and long-term interests.
"We have established the Sovereign Wealth Fund. I have pooled all state assets under one management, one administration, with a total value of US$1 trillion. In total, there are US$1,040 billion in assets under management," said President Prabowo.
Concluding his remarks, President Prabowo emphasized the government's commitment to continue working consistently and with discipline. All achievements and policies are directed towards realizing national independence and prosperity.
