inp.polri.go.id - Blitar. The construction of the Merah Putih Presisi Bridge, connecting Ringinanom Village and Karanggondang Village, Udanawu District, Blitar Regency, continues to show significant progress.
The project has reached approximately 75 percent completion and is targeted for immediate completion so that it can be used by the public. The construction process is being carried out in stages, starting with the assembly of the steel frame, casting the main bridge section, and painting the bridge.
Blitar City Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Kalfaris Triwijaya Lalo, stated that this construction demonstrates the police's commitment to supporting community needs, particularly improving access and connectivity between regions.
"The Merah Putih Presisi Bridge is expected to facilitate community mobility while facilitating economic activities between Ringinanom Village and Karanggondang Village," he said on Monday (5/11/2026).
He emphasized that the accelerated construction will prioritize quality standards and safety to ensure the bridge's long-term use.
"We continue to push for accelerated construction while maintaining construction quality and safety factors to achieve optimal results," he explained.
Public enthusiasm was also evident during the work on the ground. The public and authorities are working together to ensure the smooth running of the construction project, allowing for faster progress.
