Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia has called on the public to remain patient during the transition of 3-kg LPG distribution from retailers to official distributors.

"Please give us some time to resolve this," he said in a press conference on Monday (3/2/2025), addressing long queues for subsidized LPG.

He reassured that there is no supply shortage, but consumers may have to travel further to find official distributors instead of buying from local retailers.

To stabilize prices, the government is accelerating the registration of qualified retailers as official distributors, ensuring LPG is sold at regulated prices.

The transition period is set for one month, during which retailers are encouraged to register. State-owned gad distribution company PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has also urged consumers to purchase directly from official distributors, providing an online tool to locate the nearest supplier.
