Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs  Minister Hadi Tjahjanto organized a meeting in Jakarta on Friday (19/4/2024) to discuss Papua's current situation. 

The attendees included officials from various key agencies such as tthe Indonesian Military (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polr)i, State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Ministry of Home Affairs, and Ministry of Defens, according to antaranews.com.

Although the meeting was held behind closed doors, some photos were released afterward by the TNI Information Center. 

Among the attendees captured in the photos were Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto and INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo

It is worth noting that on 5 April 2024, Commander Agus instructed a change in the terminology used to refer to separatist groups in Papua. 

The military now refers to it as the “Free Papua Organization'' (OPM), although INP continues to use the term the "Armed Criminal Group” (KKB).

The discussion likely revolved around addressing the challenges and developments in Papua, with various ministries and agencies contributing their perspectives and strategies. 

However, official details regarding the meeting's agenda have yet to be disclosed.
