Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto officially handed over the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) document to the Papua administration in Jayapura on Tuesday (17/10/23).
"This RTRW will serve as a guiding framework for urban development and investment, offering spatial directives for environmental sustainability, disaster mitigation, and tourism promotion," he was quoted by antaranews.com as saying.
Minister Hadi urged the Papua administration to finalize the RTRW by 19 November 2023, noting that the provincial administration only prepared 13 out of 18 required detailed spatial plans, locally known as RDTR.
Upon completion, he added, the local administration can issue the RDTR, streamlining the Ministry of ATR/BPN's ability to grant a land use conformity permit (KPR) for incoming investors.
The minister explained the importance of collaboration in resolving customary land management issues, exemplified by the issuance of a Certificate of Management Rights (HPL) covering an area of 699.7 hectares to the Sawoy Hnya customary community in Sawoy village, Kemtuk Gresi District, Jayapura Regency.
"The land has been subdivided into three certificates, all of which will be allocated for agricultural purposes," he said.
