inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police revealed the search process for a student from SMKN 61 Pulau Tidung with the initials NJ (19) who had been missing for 10 days. The search was carried out after his mother, RI (42), reported her missing child to the Pulau Seribu Sub-regional Police.
"As soon as the report was received, our members immediately traced information from the dormitory and the surrounding community to confirm the victim's whereabouts," said Pulau Seribu Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Argadija Putra on Friday (10/10/2025).
Following the initial search process, police heard that the victim was last seen in Sumur Batu, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. Officers then went to the location with the locals.
In the search, NJ was found at the house of a man with the initials AP.
"The victim was found safe and sound. We immediately secured her and took her to the police headquarters for further investigation," explained Argadija.
He added that this success was the result of fast work and solid coordination between officers, the school, and the community. Every report was handled quickly and professionally.
"In this case, good collaboration has enabled us to find the girl quickly and returned to her to her parents safely," he said.
