Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The National Counter-Terrorism Agency says that moderate contents instilled with positive values of diversity, positive knowledge, nationalism, and religions could combat radical contents.
The Deputy of BNPT Enforcement and Capacity Building Sector Ibnu Suhendra says that the moderate narration or contents spread across social media considered to be able to avoid, or even combat the radical contents.
“With the presence of those contents, internet user could find and consume those positive contents and eventually avoided or even combat the radical contents,” said Ibnu on Tuesday (4/2/2024).
Through the positive narration, Ibnu says other challenges in combatting terrorism in digital spaces can be limited. However, he underscores that Ibnu cannot do this alone.
“We hoped for the active role of government institutions, particularly their public relations division, to participate in producing and distributing the moderate narration,” concluded Ibnu.
