inp.polri.go.id – General Secretary of PP Muhammadiyah, Abdul Mu'ti, supports the steps taken by the National Police in uncovering cases of the Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) fund abuse. According to him, this can be a warning for other foundations and institutuion to be careful in managing aid funds. "The aspect that is currently being handled by the police is related to the use of funds that are not in accordance with the allocation and also their reports that is not in accordance with the actual facts. In this aspect, I think the police's actions can be justified," said Mu'ti in Jakarta, Sunday (31/7/2022). Mu'ti also explained, for the next steps, he requested that all parties trust all the decisions to the competent authorities, in this case the court. "Let the court handle it. All parties must adhere to the principle of presumption of innocence. The court must judge the cases independently, objectively, and fairly," he said.
