Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian Ulama Council (MUI) condemns the brutal attacks of Israel towards the people of Gaza who are picking up their humanitarian aid. The attack happened on Thursday (2/29/2024) and killed hundreds of victims. Head of International Relationship and Cooperation of MUI Sudarnoto Abdul Hakim calls the heinous act of Israel is inhumane and sadistic. “This is truly crazy for them to kill people who were just trying to get the aid that they desperately need. They are civil and unarmed people. What they did to these people is truly inhumane,” calls Sudarnoto on Friday (3/1/2024). Sarcastically, Sudarnoto says that PM Netanyahu is truly fulfilling his promise of not listening to anyone, even the International Court of Justice, and will continue mass killing the people of Palestine. “No one can cover the filth and evil of Israel. Saying that they want to eradicate Hamas as they are a terrorist group is truly the biggest lie they told, when in truth Israel is the biggest terrorist group in the world who are hellbent in flattening Palestine,” said Sudarnoto. He also expressed his disappointment towards other countries, such as the US, who turned blind eye on Israel actions. “This is truly a huge challenge, especially for the International Court of Justice, in facing influences that deteriorates the important recommendation regarding Israeli occupation and genocide acts. 52 countries have given their speech in the court, including sharp criticism from our Foreign Minister, which will become the important moment in International Law History.
