inp.polri.go.id – The Regent of Nduga, Namia Gwijangge, has issued an order to all residents in Kenyam City and its surroundings to fly the red and white flag starting August 1, 2022 tomorrow.
The Regent has ordered an issue that both residential housing and shops starting on August 1, will have to fly the red and white flags and banners to welcome the upcoming 77th Indonesian Independence Day.
In celebrating the 77th Indonesia's Independence Day, the people of Indonesia has prepared various activities, including those in Kenyam city which will held a carnival.
It was stated that the carnival in Kenyam will showcase of various cultures around Indonesia. This is due to the diversity of people who live in Nduga Regency, which came from various tribes and region of Indonesia.
“We have held meetings with all related parties so that the carnival in celebrating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day can run safely and smoothly. Everyone has an important role in making this carnival a success,” said Namia in one of his statements.
“And I as the Regent of Nduga would like to expresses my deepest gratitude to all elements of society who have collaborated in building this region a better place,” said Namia.
