Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office in Bali's Badung Regency prepared three dedicated counters for the 10th World Water Forum delegates from 18-25  May 2024 to streamline immigration processes. 

Each counter was staffed by four Immigration personnel to deliver swift service, according to antaranews.com.

From 6 March 2024, 30 autogate units were operational at the international arrival terminal, significantly reducing immigration inspection time to just 15-25 seconds per traveler.  Another 30 autogate units were slated for installation, expected to be completed by August 2024. 

Plans also included adding 20 autogates at the international departure terminal, totaling 80 units at Ngurah Rai Airport. 

Autogates were accessible to Indonesian travelers and certain foreign nationals.  Immigration checks were integrated with Face Recognition technology. 

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno foresaw approximately 35,000 delegates from 193 countries attending the forum in Nusa Dua, Bali, themed "water for shared prosperity”.
