inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police is monitoring fuel distribution at every Public Fuel Station (SPBU) in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. So far, no fuel shortages have been detected at any gas stations.
"Don't worry about fuel availability, there are no shortages at gas stations," said Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Public Relations Chief Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, Monday (3/9/2026).
According to him, the government and Pertamina have guaranteed fuel availability during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period and no fuel shortages for the public.
"The government, including Pertamina, also guarantees that fuel availability during this Eid al-Fitr holiday will be sufficient, even exceeding," he explained.
The Jakarta Provincial Government has confirmed that fuel stocks in Jakarta will remain secure until Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri. The public is also advised not to overbuy fuel amidst the uncertain global situation.
