Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto reaffirmed his administration's dedication to improving the lives of Indonesians during the 2024 National Christmas Celebration at Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta, on Saturday (28/12/2024). 

"We are determined to work hard to serve the people of Indonesia. We want to lead with integrity and prioritize the interests of our citizens. There is absolutely no intention to make life difficult for the people," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Addressing the audience, President Prabowo asked for patience, noting that his administration had only been in office for two months and eight days. 

"Please be patient and give us time to work earnestly. I remain optimistic because I have reviewed all the data, and the blessings we have as a nation are extraordinary," he added.

The president expressed confidence in his team of ministers and officials, commending their dedication. He acknowledged initial concerns about his leadership style, saying, "Some were hesitant to work with me, thinking I’m strict. If things aren’t done properly, I am."

The event was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto, Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, senior cabinet members, and military and police leaders.
