inp.polri.go.id - North Halmahera. The Prevention Team of Special Detachment 88 provided outreach and education to 50 prospective civil servants (CPNS) in North Halmahera Regency on early detection and prevention of the spread of intolerance, radicalism, extremism, and terrorism (IRET).
The activity, which took place in the second-floor auditorium of the North Halmahera Regent's Office, aimed to raise awareness among young people and civil servants (ASN/CPNS) about the importance of protecting themselves from intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism.
Second Police Inspector Herry Rinsampessy, from the Prevention Directorate, presented material on the characteristics of members of the public, students, and young people who are beginning to be exposed to and have been exposed to IRET, as well as how to prevent it.
The event was also attended by the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of North Halmahera Regency, Ony Hendrick, who delivered his remarks and opened the event.
Through this activity, it is hoped that North Halmahera Regency Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) will understand the dangers of intolerance, radicalism, and terrorism, as well as how to prevent them, so they can become agents of prevention in the community.
