North Sumatra Police established DVI Post to identify the land slide victim in Simangulampe Village, Bakti Raja, Humbahas Regency. “DVI Post would be later on used to receive the antemortem and postmortem data of the deceased,” quotes North Sumatra Regional Police PR Chief Grand Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi on Sunday (12/3/2023). Furthermore, Hadi adds that DVI Post team would coordinate with Humbahas Health Office to identify the victims treated in Bakara Medical Center. “We have also built a temporary mortuary and prepare equipment for antemortem and postmortem identification," explained Hadi. Hadi previously has reported that North Sumatra regional government has dispatched a joint team of police, military, and rescue team to respond the land slide disaster in Simangulampe. During their evacuation effort, official found two dead bodies of Diana Sinaga and Dian Lubis. “As of now, we are still working on searching the missing victims,” conclude the PR Chief. (ad/pt/pr/nm)
