Inp.polri.go.id – East Kalimantan. East Kalimantan Special Criminal Investigation Directorate continues to intensively pursue the provocateur of Bitung bloody incident, Marco Karundeng (M). New facts surrounding Marco was that he allegedly did not ran away to East Kalimantan, but in fact is working on a ship around Samarinda City. East Kalimantan Police Public Information Chief, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant I Nyoman Wijaya explains: “Marco was in fact is not running away from Bitung to his hometown in East Kalimantan. But in actuality, he was working on a ship in Samarinda before he was apprehended by the police”. Previously, many media reports state that Marco has fled to East Kalimantan after triggering a bloody conflict in Bitung through his social media spew. According to police initial investigation, they had found a comment in social media allegedly triggered the conflict in Bitung, North Sulawesi. After being tracked for a while, police found the account owner was in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. With the knowledge of Marco being in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Police immediately dispatch a unit to arrest the provocateur.
