North Sumatra Police Chief (Kapolda Sumut), Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak opened the Coaching Clinic and Launched the Precision Syllabus Application, at the Prasetya Chess Hall of the North Sumatra Police, Tuesday (14/06/22). The event was also attended by the Lab Forensic Chief of the North Sumatra Regional Police (Polda Sumut), Commissioner Teguh Yuswardhie, Main Officials of the North Sumatra Police, Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police, Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Police, POM TNI and representatives of BNNP and BPOM. Kapolda Sumut said that the activity was held so that the participants could understand in the development of science and technology, especially for the examiners/investigators in carrying out investigative tasks. "One of the expert supports that have been formed and currently exists is the Forensic Laboratory and this has been recognized in the Criminal Procedure Code," explained the Two-Star General. Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak said theLab Forensic of Polda Sumut have six main tasks and functions, namely technical examination of crime scenes, laboratory examination of evidence, human resource training and development, development of forensic science applications, technical guidance of laboratory functions, and general services of laboratory functions to the community. "The laboratory result is an evidence that must be owned and used in every investigation," said the Akabri graduate in 1990. Kapolda Sumut thanked the Lab Forensic Chief of Polda Sumut for launching the Precision Syllabus application. He hopes that in the future, it will continue to be useful in facilitating the duties of examiners/investigators in providing services to the community.
