inp.polri.go.id - North Sumatra. The North Sumatra Regional Police hold a reconstruction for the burning of a journalist house in Nabung Surbakti street, Karo Regency on Friday (7/19/2024).

The PR chief of the North Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Hadi Wahyudi says the reconstruction begins at 14.00 pm until 20.00 pm and went smoothly.

"There are 57 reconstruction scenes that were played by the three suspects," said Hadi after the reconstruction.

Hadi details that the three suspects along with 15 witnesses came for the reconstruction of the burning that killed Rico Sempurna Pasaribu and his family.

The former Biak Sub-regional Police Chief explains that the arsons of the house burning are B alias Bulanh, RAS and YST.

"This reconstruction is part of an investigation technique by making the suspects reenacting their crimes and testifying the statements of the witness with the aim of making a clear picture of the incident for the investigators," explains Hadi.

He thanked the people of Karo who watched the reconstruction process thoroughly.
