Inp.polri.go.id - Padang. The joint team of Indonesian Military Force (TNI), Indonesian National Police (INP), National Se arch and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), and related stakeho  lders have found six other victims of Marapi Mount eruption.

  With the recent findings, Padang Basarnas officials, Malik noted there have been 74 victims evacuated from the location, with 22 fatalities and 52 others being injured.   “We are now trying to find the other one climber left,” Malik explains on Wednesday (12/6/2023).   Malik adds that those who survived the disaster are now being treated with some others are allowed to go home. Meanwhile, there were six dead bodies successfully identified by the officials.   On the other hand, Bukittinggi Sub-regional Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Yessi Kurniati reveals evacuation would be focused around the mountain peak area and reconfirmed if there are any unlisted climbers.   “Evacuation will comb the area and we all here pray that the one missing climber could be immediately found and evacuated as soon as possible,” prays Yessi.   (ad/ay/pr/nm)
