Inp.polri.go.id - Bandung.  The West Java Regional Police has revealed that 27,162 personnel, including those from the Indonesian National Police (INP), the Indonesian Military (TNI), and local administrations, have begun their duties as part of Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2024 on Thursday. Senior Superintendent Wibowo, the Director of Traffic at West Java Police, said on Friday (5/4/2024)  that tens of thousands of combined personnel are tasked with securing the flow of the Eid al-Fitr exodus and return in 2024, covering the period from 4 to 16 April  2024. "Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2024 will run for 13 days All personnel involved have been deployed to posts across West Java," he said, as reported by antaranews.com. In addition to deploying joint personnel, the West Java Police has prepared several traffic engineering schemes such as contraflow and one way system to anticipate traffic congestion. 'Contraflow' will be implemented specifically on toll roads such as Jakarta-Cikampek. Meanwhile, the one-way traffic scheme will be applied around kilometer 72 to kilometer 414 of the Cipali Toll Road. "This is a situational approach and will only be implemented on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road," Chief Wibowo said. He urged the public to regularly check their vehicles before traveling for the exodus or return flow to ensure their safety.
