“The number of personnel involved in the Security Post of Gentong U-turn aer 49 to secure the national road,” says the Head Traffic Unit of Tasikmalaya City Sub-regional Police, Senior Police Inspector Riki Kustiawan on Sunday (3/23/2025).

In his statement, he explains that his unit has done the preparation and security for smooth traffic by preparing posts along the national road.

According to the instruction of the West Java Regional Police, Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus ensured a complete preparation for the facilities such as health posts, personnel from various units and agencies, and the installation of CCTV for the smooth flow of homecoming.

"For CCTV, we ensure it will be ready to operate," he explained.

He said that personnel from the police and other agencies will be on standby on routes prone to traffic jams and other obstacles starting from the Garut Regency border to the Budiman gas station.

He adds that his staff also prepared a traffic jam dissolve team that is ready to overcome any obstacles or disruptions on the highway so that traffic conditions remain smooth.

"Added to the traffic jam resolution team of 15 personnel," he explained.

Operation Ketupat Lodaya 2025 has begun which will last for 14 days before and after Eid al-Fitr to ensure that the flow of homecoming and return traffic in the Tasikmalaya area runs smoothly and safely.
