Inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh.  During the first week of the 2024 Zebra Seulawah Operation, the Aceh Regional Police’s Directorate of Traffic took action against 2,051 drivers for traffic violations.

"Up to the seventh day, 2,051 drivers have been fined for violating traffic regulations," said Aceh Police Director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent Muhammad Iqbal Alqudusy, on Monday (21/10/2024).

Of the total fines issued, 2,001 were manual, while 49 were from static electronic ticketing systems, and one from a mobile electronic system.

In addition to fines, officers issued 7,646 warnings during the operation.

Compared to the 2023 Zebra Seulawah Operation, manual ticketing increased by 25%, rising from 828 in 2023 to 2,001 in 2024. 

However, electronic ticketing saw a decline, with static fines dropping from 65 to 49, and mobile electronic fines decreasing from seven to one case.
