Over 3,100 Joint Officers Deployed to Secure Former Hotel Sultan Eviction

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A joint force of 3,161 officers from the military, police, and local administration was deployed to secure the eviction of Block 15 at the former Hotel Sultan complex in Central Jakarta on Thursday (18/6/2026).

"We have conducted thorough security preparations. Officers are stationed to secure the object, anticipate potential disruptions, and ensure the execution process complies with regulations," said Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Reynold E.P. Hutagalung.

Security preparations began on Wednesday afternoon with a tactical briefing led by Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Deputy Chief Brigadier General Dekananto Eko P..

Chief Ryenold emphasized that the police prioritized persuasive and humanistic approaches. He also urged all parties to maintain public order during the process.
