Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. At a state dinner hosted by President Prabowo Subianto at the Defense University on Wednesday night (11/6/2025), the Palestinian national anthem “Fida’i” was performed by Palestinian cadets studying at the university.
President Prabowo invited them forward, saying, “We honor the struggle of a free Palestine,” as reported by antaranews.com
The event was part of the inauguration of the new Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Campus at the Defense University in Bogor, West Java. The evening also featured national anthems of Pakistan and Indonesia, with Pakistan’s played first in honor of visiting Minister of Defense Khawaja Asif.
Presidential spokespersons described the moment as a “symbol of solidarity and humanity upheld by Indonesia.”
This rare moment of three national anthems in one formal event reflects Indonesia’s deep diplomatic respect and its consistent support for Palestinian independence.
Senior government officials, including Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, the Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto and Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigir Prabowo, were present at the symbolic gathering.
