inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Regional Public Company Drinking Water Company (PAM) Jaya revealed that the new tariff adjustment starting in January 2025 will be fair. In addition, the new tariff adjustment also aims to improve service to customers.

"PAM Jaya is committed to providing better services, while supporting government programs in meeting the drinking water needs of the Jakarta community as a whole," explained President Director of PAM Jaya, Arief Nasrudin, Friday (12/27/2024).

He said that this new tariff has referred to the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 730 of 2024 concerning the Drinking Water Tariff of the Regional Public Company PAM Jaya.

Furthermore, Arief said that the tariff adjustment policy is part of PAM Jaya's efforts to improve the quality of life of the community by fulfilling drinking water needs in 2030.

According to him, a combination of innovative technology implementation, operational discipline, and synergistic cooperation is also carried out in order to realize 100 percent drinking water coverage for all Jakarta residents.

To that end, the implementation of new tariffs is an effort to realize the fulfillment of drinking water fairly for all levels of Jakarta society.

Moreover, drinking water tariffs in Jakarta have remained the same for the past 17 years, even though the cost of meeting the need for drinking water supplies continues to increase.
