inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Chairperson of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Lestari Moerdijat reminded the commemoration of Pancasila Day should be the moment to build collective awareness in practicing Pancasila values in national life.

"The commemoration of Pancasila BDay must be a momentum to build collective awareness in practicing Pancasila values in national life," said Rerie, her nickname, in a written statement quoted by Antaranews on Sunday (6/1/2025).

She then touched on the theme of the commemoration of Pancasila Birth Day in 2025, namely "Strengthening the Pancasila Ideology Towards a Great Indonesia".

She assessed that to strengthen the Pancasila ideology, every citizen needs to improve their understanding and practice of the values contained in the foundation of the state.

This, she continued, can be done in various ways, be it through education, socialization, and the application of Pancasila values in daily life which must be carried out consistently.

The member of Commission X of the Indonesian House of Representatives also hopes that these efforts must receive serious attention from stakeholders so that the values contained in Pancasila can be increasingly understood by the wider community.

Rerie encouraged the next generation to be able to practice the values of Pancasila in everyday life in order to realize a prosperous and socially just country for all its people.
