Reverend Petrus Bonyadone, a well-known religious figure in Papua, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Indonesian National Police (INP), particularly the Papua Regional Police, for their extraordinary dedication in maintaining the security situation in the region.

In his statement, Petrus highlights the importance of police work that is based on law and spiritual value, to ensure that the step taken is based on virtue and justice.

“From the perspective of moral value, I saw the police have done a lot in supporting religious activities thus creating harmony and prosperity in the community. I hope this good work continues in order to accentuate the value of police as the protector, guide, and servant of the people,” says Petrus on Wednesday (1/8/2025).

It is hoped that this appreciation can be a motivation for the police force to continue to improve their services and dedication to the community, by always upholding the law and noble moral values.

On the other hand, Petrus also invites the people of Papua to support and collaborate with security forces in maintaining regional stability.

“I also appeal to the community to work hand-in-hand with the security officials in bringing and maintaining peace on the Land of Papua. With good cooperation between two parties, security and peace can be made in Papua,” explains Petrus.
