Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura.  The Chief of the Papua Regional Police, Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri and his delegation conducted a working visit to Merauke on Sunday (18/2/2024). During this working visit, he was accompanied by the Acting Head of the Planning and Development Bureau of the Papua Police, Senior Superintendent Ruben Palayukan and the Doctor to the Papua Police Chief, First Inspector Dr. Leonard R. I. Philippus. Upon arrival at Mopah Airport in Merauke, the Papua Police Chief was welcomed by the Acting Governor of South Papua, Dr.  Apolo Safanpo, , the Head of the Legal and Human Rights Division of the Papua Police as the South Papua Liaison Officer, Senior Superintendent  Dedy Sumarsono, the Merauke Police Chief, Superintendent I Ketut Suarnaya, as well as various heads of departments, chiefs, and officers of the Merauke Police. The Head of Public Relations Unit of the Papua Police, Senior Superintendent Ignatius Benny Ady Prabowo, said that the Papua Police Chief's visit to Merauke District aimed to provide assistance for the Mantab Brata Cartenz 2023-2024 Operation following the implementation of the elections in the South Papua province.
