inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. PT Pegadaian strengthened its collaboration with the Indonesian National Police (INP) by signing a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) concerning Security Assistance and the Utilization of Pegadaian Products and Services.

The signing of the agreement took place on September 16-17, 2026, in Surabaya. This cooperation represents a joint effort to support Pegadaian's operational security and improve coordination between the two parties.

The security collaboration encompasses various efforts, from prevention and early detection, security system development, field coordination, and rapid response in the event of security breaches.

Zulfan Adam, SEVP General Affairs of PT Pegadaian, stated that the collaboration is expected to support Pegadaian's operations, both during security breaches and as a preventative measure through escorting and monitoring business activities.

"We want to create a safe and comfortable situation at Pegadaian. For us, maintaining public trust is our top priority," said Zulfan on Friday (9/18/2026).

Meanwhile, Ahmad Zaenudin, Regional Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office XII Surabaya, referred to the INP as Pegadaian's strategic partner. According to him, the collaboration not only relates to security aspects, but also the utilization of various Pegadaian products and services for the police family.

These products and services include the gold ecosystem, financing, and various other financial services that can be utilized according to needs and applicable regulations.

Ahmad added that he hopes this collaboration will be actively followed up by Pegadaian and the police in all working areas, so that its benefits can be felt in real terms.

"We invite all Pegadaian staff in East Java to actively follow up on this collaboration with the police in their respective regions. A strong collaboration is achieved through tangible benefits felt on the ground," he concluded.

Through this cooperation, Pegadaian and INP are committed to strengthening communication and coordination to support the creation of safe, orderly operations that benefit the community.
