np.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  A viral Facebook post claiming a total blackout across Java and Bali for three consecutive days has been confirmed as false. State electricity company PT PLN  issued an official clarification on Thursday (25/6/2026), saying the information did not originate from the company and cannot be verified.

Gregorius Adi Trianto,the  Executive Vice President of Corporate Communication and TJSL PLN, said that the circulating message is a hoax.

“The information did not come from PLN and cannot be accounted for,” he said.

PLN urged the public to remain cautious in receiving news and to always verify through official PLN channels. The company reminded citizens not to trust or spread unconfirmed information that could cause unnecessary concern.
