inp.polri.go.id – Denpasar. The Bali Regional Police deployed 917 personnel to maintain the security of the G20 Foreign Minister Meeting (FMM) in Nusa Dua, 7-8 July 2022.
"We have deployed 917 personnel assisted by stakeholders," said the Bali Police Chief, Inspector General Drs. Putu Jayaan Danu Putra, S.H., M.Sc., after leading the team gathering, Monday (04/07/22).
The Bali Police Chief explained that the troop gathering was aimed at ensuring the readiness of all personnel and the infrastructure. That way, it is hoped that they are ready to carry out their duties.
The Two-Star General asked his members to anticipate all possibilities that could happen. "Don't let your guard down while carrying out your duties," he said.
The Bali Police Chief also ordered that early detection should be strengthened to prevent all forms of threats that could potentially interfere with the implementation of the G20 FMM. "I ask to expand the access of the intelligence unit so that it can detect the potential of disturbances earlier The point is not to let any slightest disturbance occured," he concluded.
