inp.polri.go.id – Lampung.  Lampung Police Chief (Kapolda Lampung) Inspector General Drs. Hendro Sugiatno, M.M., was visited by the Press Council in his office, Wednesday (3/23/22) afternoon. The visit aims to provide information and support related to the surging issues that occurred recently on behalf of journalism. Kapolda Lampung expressed his gratitude for the visit and support from the Press Council for the Lampung Police. "We thank you for the visit and support from the Press Council, of course in the future we still expect support from the Press Council and all press organizations so that we can work better," stated Kapolda Lampung. M. Agung Dharmajaya, who is a member of the Press Council and also the Chairman of the Law and Legislation Commission of the Press Council, said that the Press Council had cleared out the issues that had become polemics in the region. He said that he came to Polda Lampung to provide support for law enforcement. "This is not about support, but trying to explain the problem properly," explained M. Agung Dharmajaya. He adds that if the press organization is not regulated by the Press Council, then there is no filter in the formation of the press organization. "This council regulates all press organizations that are under the auspices of the Press Council, anyone can join the Press Council with applicable terms and conditions," he concluded.
