inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Polda Metro Jaya takes action against vehicles who illegally parked on Jalan Senopati, South Jakarta. Deputy Director of Traffic for the Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Rusdy Pramana Suryanagara, S.I.K., said the action was due to the direction of Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General Dr. Drs. H. Mohammad Fadil Imran, M.Sc., regarding illegal parking. "Yesterday in the Senopati-Suryo area, there were 10 vehicles towed by Traffic and Transportation Service (Dishub) and four vehicles were ticketed," explained AKBP Rusdy. He added that his party immediately responded to directions from Inspector General Fadil Imran regarding the illegal parking that has often happened at several locations, which according to him caused a traffic jam in the region. Not only that, the Directorate of Traffic Unit (Ditlantas) of Polda Metro Jaya has also held a meeting with the Head of Dishub of DKI Jakarta regarding illegal parking in each Jakarta area. "We have identified several areas prone to traffic jams, one of which is Jl Gunawarman, Senopati, Suryo," said AKBP Rusdy. Deputy Director of Traffic at Polda Metro Jaya said that his party had also set up security posts along with the DKI Jakarta Transportation Service at each congestion-prone point. "Today a post will be established together with colleagues from the Transportation Agency in the area prone to congestion," stated the Deputy Director of Traffic for the Polda Metro Jaya.
